This morning, we got word that the Senate Parliamentarian ruled that the AI language in the Senate reconciliation bill that bans state-level AI regulation will stay in the bill. This is because the Parliamentarian says that since the language has funding attached to it because it now gives states funding for broadband, it meets the Byrd rule which is one of the reconciliation rules. Not sure if it will stay in because so much of this is fluid but for now it stays in the bill draft. Cynthia Morton CEO
